2022 :Nota Bene Dineen Vineyard Red Blend - Yakima Valley

Our two favorite varietals from this site are blended in equal proportion because we appreciate both contributions with equal weight. Cultural tastes have changed over time and Cabernet Sauvignon has become the more favored varietal for its forward dark-berry flavors. However, Cabernet Franc brings tremendous complexity to the pairing and harmonizes a symphony of fruits and savory herbal aromas. Both varietals were raised side by side in Catherine’s Block, a favored location of the vineyard.

Barrels: This wine was aged 22 months in seasoned Export-style barrels by Artisan Barrel, Tonnellerie Doreau and Vernou, and 1/3^rd  new French oak from Maury and Fils.
