2021 :Nota Bene Syrah - StoneTree Vineyard - Wahluke Slope

The middle slopes of the Saddle Mountains, consisting of Scoon series sandy silt loam soils, are perfectly suited for Syrah with good drainage in winter and cool breezes in summer that lead to intense skin color and flavor. Each vintage presents a wine with intensity and deep character of dark fruits mingled with roasted nuts and earthiness with just a hint of floral bouquet from the Viognier.

Barrels: This wine was aged 22 months in Export-style barrels of seasoned French oak by Tonnellerie Doreau, and seasoned American oak by Canton Cooperage and supplemented with French oak infusion by XtraChêne.
