2021 :Nota Bene Dineen Vineyard Red Blend - Yakima Valley

Our two favorite varietals from this site are blended in equal proportion because we appreciate both contributions with equal weight. Cultural tastes have changed over time and Cabernet Sauvignon has become the more favored varietal for its forward dark-berry flavors. However, Cabernet Franc brings tremendous complexity to the pairing and harmonizes a symphony of fruits and savory herbal aromas. Both varietals were raised side by side in Catherine’s Block, a favored location of the vineyard.

Barrels: This wine was aged 22 months in Export-style barriques of seasoned French oak from Tonnellerie Vernou and seasoned American oak from Canton Cooperage and supplemented with French oak infusion by XtraChêne.ne.
