Merlot is one of the most successful varietals on the Wahluke Slope. This was no secret to Arianses Vineyard owner Bruce Zunzer when planting vines in 1998. We crafted this Merlot-dominant wine around the Merlot’s intriguing dark-berry flavors, but the Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot contributions are forceful in their addition to the herbal complexity and elegance of the finish.
