2018 MCM Wine Company Divinia Rosé – Yakima Valley
2018 MCM Wine Company Divinia Rosé – Yakima Valley
Please welcome our 2018 MCM Wine Company Divinia Rosé. It's Grenache dominant by more than half from Angiolina Vineyard near Zillah so it drinks like a Rhône rosé, but we've also included good portions of other Rhône varietals and Bordeaux varietals that were extracted from just crushed red fermentations. The Grenache had 24 hours of skin contact before pressing. The fermentation was all natural yeast to drive complexity. ML was partially completed to build the rich mouthfeel of wine that owes its style to barrel aged red wines.
It’s dry with < .1g/L of sugar. Bottled 7/29/19; 100 cases produced; Alcohol: 13.0%
50%+ Grenache (Angiolina Vineyard) and the balance Saignée of Washington State red grapes (both Rhône-style and Bordeaux-style grapes)
Tank: This wine was aged for 11 months in a high density poly tank sur lies with frequent early stirring.
