2017 :Nota Bene Ciel du Cheval Vineyard : Red Mountain
Ciel du Cheval Vineyard is a premier vineyard in Washington State. Located in the Red Mountain AVA, it is blessed with warm days and cool nights that ensure dominant, mature, ripe flavors. This vintage exemplifies a Cab Sauv-dominant blend with significant contributions from Cab Franc and Merlot. The rich, dark-berry flavors marry with the bold and dusty tannins typical of Ciel and Red Mountain. This wine has the history and structure to benefit from time in the cellar. We thank the Holmes family for raising this fine fruit during a wonderful growing season.
