2013 Ciel Du Cheval Vineyard : Red Mountain
2013 Ciel Du Cheval Vineyard : Red Mountain
Ciel du Cheval Vineyard is a premier vineyard in Washington State. Located in the Red Mountain AVA, it is blessed with warm days and cool nights that ensure dominant, mature, ripe flavors. This vintage continues our trend toward Cabernet-dominant blends of earlier years. The rich, dark berry flavors marry with the bold tannin structure typical of Ciel and Red Mountain. 33% new French oak contributes subtle caramel and vanilla components and assists in structuring the wine for considerable age in the cellar. We thank vineyard owner Jim Holmes for his fine fruit during a wonderful vintage.
