2009 Syrah : Columbia Valley
2009 Syrah : Columbia Valley
We built this Syrah blend around the magnificent wine from Stillwater Creek Vineyard in the Frenchman Hills just north of Royal City. The dark purple color hints at the deep rich fruit to follow. We rounded out the depth with wine from Les Vignes de Marcoux in Wapato and Stone Tree Vineyard in Mattawa. A good helping of Mourvèdre also from Stillwater Creek completes the Southern Rhône varietals. A splash of our best Merlot from Ciel du Cheval Vineyard accents the mid-palate to give this wine a pleasing finish.
