2008 Syrah : Columbia Valley
2008 Syrah : Columbia Valley
Two big Syrahs come together to form the major components of this wine. They are followed by generous helpings of Mourvèdre and Grenache that add complexity and depth from both ends of the flavor spectrum. The Mourvedre contributes depth of color, tannin, and white pepper, while the Grenache is light red and fruity. Together they complement this Southern Rhône blend and round out the finish. This wine has ample structure that will make it enjoyable for many years to come. Bottled on 6/26/10; 163 cases were produced; pH 3.77, TA 5.75 g/L
