We first sourced this wine as a component of our 2011 Miscela, and that was the plan for our 2012 vintage too, but this wine was just too delicious on its own in barrel tastings to blend away the terroir. We think you'll like the extreme character of this upper Red Mountain location. So much dark berry fruit that we must thank vineyard owner Scott Williams for his forethought in planting and raising such lovely wine. Enjoy!

100% Cabernet Sauvignon (Heart of the Hill Vineyard)
Barrels: This wine was aged for 22 months in Export style barrels of 50% new French oak by Tonnellerie de Jarnac and season French oak also by de Jarnac.
