The decision to blend is always designed to maximize the effects of the components. This vintage gave us six interesting wines from four outstanding vineyards. We knew they would marry over time to form this medium bodied wine with herbs and spices reflecting their varietal history and site. Dark berries and cherries overlaid with an enjoyable mid-palate of flavors soften to a complex lingering finish.

Barrels: This wine was aged 22 months Export-style barrels once used and seasoned French oak from Alain Fouquet, seasoned French oak from de Jarnac, Doreau, Saury and Vernou with 1 lb of American oak infusion by Canton Cooperage at 10% by volume.
