Ciel du Cheval Vineyard is one of the premier vineyards in Washington State. Located in the AVA of Red Mountain it is blessed with warm days and cool nights that ensure mature ripe flavors will dominate. For this vintage we are moving back to our Cabernet dominant blend of earlier years. We are returning to the richness of the dark fruit deep berry flavors that marry with the bold structure of tannin typical of Ciel and Red Mountain. We thank Jim Holmes and Ryan Johnson for their fine fruit during a wonderful vintage. Bottled on 6/26/10; 175 cases were produced; pH 3.75, TA 5.48 g/L.
