This is a Merlot heavy Bordeaux style blend that is capturing a growing number of wine lovers with it’s old world character. Right bank charm dominated by Arianses Vineyard Merlot grown with care by vineyard owner Bruce Zunser. This is not to make light of the Cabernet contribution by Tedd Wildman at Stone Tree Vineyard. All sources have come together to show you a fine wine with major components nurtured in the Wahluke Slope.
56% Merlot (50% Arianses Vineyard, 6% Ciel du Cheval Vineyard)
22% Cabernet Sauvignon (Stone Tree Vineyard)
11% Cabernet Franc (Chandler Reach Vineyard)
11% Malbec (Verhey Vineyard)
Bottled on 6/27/09; 200 cases were produced. This wine was aged for 21 months in seasoned French, American, and Hungarian oak barrels from Keystone, Saury, Vernou, and Vicard.
