This Syrah-dominant blend was crafted around the magnificent fruit from three distinguished vineyards: Arianses near Desert Aire on the Wahluke Slope, Angiolina Vineyard near Zilla at the west end of the Yakima Valley, and Ciel du Cheval on Red Mountain at the east end of the Yakima Valley. Distinct locations with climates all their own contribute to a complex flavor profile of dark fruits, spices, and savory edges. Viognier was co-fermented with the Syrah to add floral notes to the bouquet and soften the finish.
