This is our first single varietal bottling of Cabernet Franc, but since we are blenders at heart we couldn't resist adding a cup of Cabernet Sauvignon and a dash of Malbec to build up depth and color. The vineyards are all top notch and proven in past vintages. At bottling, the flavor profile was soft and delicate with dark fruit and nice acidity to give the wine an edge with food plates on the mild side. Bottled on 7/16/11; Only 88 cases were produced; pH 3.68, TA 6.04 g/L.

Barrels: This wine was aged for 22 months in seasoned French oak by Tonnellerie Vernou and Tonnellerie Vicard.
