We crafted this Syrah-dominant blend around the magnificent fruit from three distinguished vineyards: Arianses near Desert Aire and StoneTree near Mattawa, both on the Wahluke Slope, and Ranch at the End of the Road on Red Mountain near Benton City. Distinct locations with climates all their own contribute to a complex flavor profile of dark fruits, spices, and savory edges. Viognier was co-fermented with the Syrah to add floral notes to the bouquet and soften the finish.

Barrels: This wine was aged 22 months in Export-style barrels, 50% seasoned American oak from A&K and Canton Cooperage, the balance in seasoned French oak from Ton. Vernou and Saury. All barrels contained American oak infusion by Canton Cooperage.
