Blending is always designed to maximize the component’s effects. Luckily this vintage gave us four interesting wines from two outstanding vineyards (StoneTree and Dineen). We knew they would marry over time to form this deep, rich wine with herbs and spices reflecting their varietal history and site. Dark berries and cherries overlaid with the essence of ripe currents and soft tannins create an enjoyable lingering finish.

Barrels: This wine was aged 22 months in Export-style barrels of seasoned French oak from Alain Fouquet, Artisan Barrel, and Ton. Doreau plus seasoned American oak barrels from A&K and Canton Cooperage. 80% of the barrels had French oak infusion by Canton Cooperage.
