All of our wines are crafted to be aged for many years, the number of which we will only know with time. Please stock up so you can regularly sample the wines and not miss any intermediate combinations of subtle aromas that may be short lived or transitions to more complex flavor components. We like to say that we appreciate all phases of wine flavor profiles, but that we only release the wine when the symphony is ready to play! 2007 VINTAGE RELEASES

2007 Miscela : Washington State$27/750 ml bottle True to the spirit of this wine…Miscela is Italian for “blend”…we see how grapes from many different vineyards can come together to make a satisfying Bordeaux style blend. More new world in style than our Abbinare blend of a similar concept. In a break from past blends we’ve packed the Miscela with two big Cabs; the Kiona is sourced from 30 year old vines on Red Mountain. This wine is a touch of the exotic, lots of fun to drink. We call it Washington State in a glass… 56% Cabernet Sauvignon (28% Champoux Vineyard, Bottled on 6/27/09; 175 cases were produced. This wine was aged for 21 months in 29% new French oak barrels by Saury, 57% once used by Saury, Magrenon, and Vernou, and 14% seasoned oak by Vicard. |
